# Introduction to Research Computing This workshop provides participants with an overview of the methods, software, and hardware resources that are frequently used in research computing. The primary goals are to help participants determine what types of tools might be useful in their research or instruction, and to provide a primer on tools common in most workflows (e.g., Git, Jupyter notebooks, and PBS). The workshop will be part lecture, part open discussion, and part hands-on, practice so please bring your laptop. ## Requirements * Please bring laptop November 2017
