Wiki Version:
We plan to test 140 participants in the younger group (20-40 years old), at least 100 participants (120, if we are able to recruit them) in the adolescents group (13-17 years old), and 80 participants in the older group (55+ years old). In particular, half of the participants will take part in experiments with visual noise (70 young adults, 50-60 adolescents, and 40 older adults) and the other half — in experiments with auditory noise (70 young adults, 50-60 adolescents, and 40 older adults). All participants will be native speakers of Russian, with normal or corrected to normal vision and hearing, and no history of neurological, psychiatric or speech disorders. Data from 114 younger participants, 59 adolescents, and 35 elderly participants have already been collected.
