Wiki Version:
**Original Citation:** Larsen, J.T., & McKibban, A.R. (2008). Is happiness having what you want, wanting what you have, or both? *Psychological Science, 19,* 371-377. **Target of Replication:** We plan to replicate the key finding from experiment 2: “People who had what they wanted more than others did tended to be happier even after we controlled for the number of things they had and the extent to which they wanted what they had, pr = .21, prep=.92.” **A priori replication criteria:** 175 participants are to be included. A partial correlation analysis will be used to assess the key statistic. Materials are available for download in the "Materials" component. The pre-data collection report is available in the files section of this project.
