Wiki Version:
This repository provides code, data, documentation, and a supplementary figure archive to accompany Hueholt et al. "Assessing Outcomes in Stratospheric Aerosol Injection Scenarios Shortly After Deployment" to be submitted to Earth's Future. **CodeRepository.zip** contains the Python and shell code used to process the data and make the figures in the paper. Unless specified otherwise, this code is licensed under the Open Software License 3.0, included in this repository as **LICENSE.txt** **Data.zip** contains the processed GLENS, ARISE-SAI, and CESM2(WACCM6) Historical data used to make the figures in the paper. This data is in the public domain. \ **Datasheet_HueholtEtAl_AssessingOutcomes.pdf** provides a [datasheet][1] describing technical information about this specific data, as well as potential biases and impacts on humans from this data following best practices in documentation from software engineering. This datasheet is licensed under [Creative Commons 4.0][2]. Datasheets for Datasets originate in computer science from [Gebru et al. 2021][3]; this utilizes a [modified version adapted for Earth science applications][4]. \ Unprocessed data is archived at \ GLENS: doi.org/10.5065/D6JH3JXX \ ARISE-SAI at NCAR Climate Data Gateway: doi.org/10.5065/9kcn-9y79 (all SAI and 5 no-SAI members) and doi.org/10.26024/0cs0-ev98 (remaining 5 no-SAI members) \ ARISE-SAI also available at Amazon Web Servies: All ARISE data may also be accessed from Amazon Web Services: [registry.opendata.aws/ncar-cesm2-arise/][5]. \ CESM2(WACCM6) Historical runs are available at Earth System Grid: doi.org/10.22033/ESGF/CMIP6.11298 **TimeseriesArchiveForIPCCRegions.zip** provides additional timeseries of annual mean 2m temperature, annual mean precipitation, and the simple intensity index for GLENS and ARISE-SAI, as described in Supporting Information Text S2 in the Hueholt et al. paper. These figures are licensed under [Creative Commons 4.0][6].
