Wiki Version:
This project provides an example of the data products a researcher may choose to publicly share at the end of a research project. The files a researcher shares and how they share them will depend on their specific project and requirements (e.g., funder requirements, data reuse considerations). However, this repository provides just one example of how education researchers may consider organizing data products in a repository. You can learn more about sharing data in the book [Data Management in Large-Scale Education Research][1]. Chapter 8 gives details about the types of documents shared in this repository, Chapter 9 describes how to consistently structure and name folders and files, Chapter 14 reviews how to clean data for the purpose of data sharing, and Chapter 16 discusses organizing data products in preparation for data sharing, including assessing disclosure risks before sharing. This repository contains fictitious, nonsensical data. The project is not real and was not actually funded by the U.S. Department of Education. These details are for demonstration purposes only. Original documentation templates used in this repo can be found here: [https://osf.io/e5g6t/][3] ----- **Project** This project included an efficacy study of FIDO (fictitious intervention for demonstration only). Other relevant info can go here. **Support** This project was supported by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education through the Institute of Education Sciences. **Grant** Award Number XXXXXXXXXX **Contributors** PI Names, Co-PI Names, Support Staff **Data Collection Years** 2022–2023 [1]: https://datamgmtinedresearch.com/ [2]: https://datamgmtinedresearch.com/style#directory-structure [3]: https://osf.io/e5g6t/
