Description: Large Language Models such as ChatGPT have exploded in popularity recently due to their impressive ability on various tasks. In this project, we will conduct a survey experiment that examines the causal effects of fact-checking information provided by ChatGPT on people's belief in and intention to share political news. The stimuli we utilize will consist of both true and false real news headlines about politics, rendered in a style that mimics social media feeds.
