**Session leaders**: Erin M. Buchanan, Jordan Wagge, Max Primbs, Crystal Steltenpohl, Jeremy Miller **Contact information:** psysciaccelerator@gmail.com **NOTE**: We will be recording the main presentation section of this presentation. **Link**: see live schedule **Day/time:** 14:00-15:30 Monday **Abstract**: The Psychological Science Accelerator (PSA) is an outcome of the 2017 SIPS session. We would like to show briefly how this one idea morphed into the buoyant enterprise that the PSA is today. This session aims at introducing the PSA, a distributed lab network, to those unfamiliar with it and answer questions about the network. This session is introductory, covering frequently asked PSA topics, and beyond to new questions. We will introduce the committees, explain the way the PSA operates, ways in which people can join or contribute to the network, and ways of joining committees or studies. We will also introduce our new exciting initiatives (meta-science, theory working group, invariance project, and secondary data analysis challenge). The success of PSA projects, along with current status, will be explored to show the power of a distributed lab network. This session will be a fantastic opportunity to ask questions about the PSA, join the network and meet some members who will be happy to guide people’s way into the PSA. **Pre-requisites:** none **Slack Channel:** https://sips2020.slack.com/archives/C015MBT27JL **OSF Project Page**: https://osf.io/576pd/ **Agenda**: - Slideshow presentation covering an introduction to the PSA (recorded) - Q&A by audience members Important Links: - Slides: [Here’s the PSA!][1] - Join our member website: [PSA - Member Website][2] - Get more information about the PSA conference: [Come to our conference][3] - Slack invitation: [Join us on Slack][4] - Donate to the PSA general fund: [Donate][5] [1]: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1sTLgRpLW_xf19ylNyB75nEDWHd0U2UEgBb2m9KUYdOI/edit?usp=sharing [2]: https://member.psysciacc.org/ [3]: https://psysciacc.org/the-2020-virtual-meeting-of-the-psychological-science-accelerator/ [4]: https://join.slack.com/t/psych-sci-accelerator/shared_invite/zt-6xdadc02-JKn5bEPNMN8vliJlAJBU5w [5]: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?token=n_u7Bs_RgD2oP6tJS-vQDuemfcu3RRNC0JsWNv1F14xHGtMLtBwi5eq8fsaWAtwZtH6cE0&country.x=US&locale.x=US
