Description: The Psychology department at Durham University hold methodology and statistics seminars on Friday afternoons; depending on timezone of the speaker time might vary between 12PM and 3PM. This OSF page includes methods and statistics talks organised through our department, including events organised by Durham RIOT Science talks. What is RIOT Science Club? The RIOT Science Club is a forum where researchers can learn about Open Research reforms and practices, and central to its aims is encouraging Reproducible, Interpretable, Open & Transparent Science. Check out other events on RIOTS club website here: http://riotscience.co.uk/. RIOTS Club was originally founded in 2018 at King’s College London by Samuel Westwood and co-organised by Marion Criaud, Olivia Kowalczyk, and Sheut-Ling Lam. The R.I.O.T. Science Club is now brought to Durham University. First originating from the Psychology Department, RIOTS Club now has collaborated with the Durham Research Method Centre (DRMC) to organise seminars and events to introduce staff and students across disciplines to different RIOTS practices.
