The current OSF project contains sound recordings and supplementary materials for the Swedish version of the Hearing In Noise Test (HINT). The Swedish HINT test was developed by Hällgren, Larsby and Arlinger (2006) in accordance with the English original by Nilsson, Soli and Sullivan (1994).
In the folder 'Audio files/Phonemically balanced 10-sentence lists' you will find wave files containing all 25 Swedish HINT lists recorded with a female voice, as well as five practice lists. On these recordings, the speech material is located in the left channel and a speech weighted stationary noise in the right channel.
Also in the folder 'Audio files/Phonemically balanced 10-sentence lists', the file 'CalibrationSignal.wav' contains the HINT calibration signal. For details about the calibration signal, see the file 'Hint-listor på svenska – Klinisk användning.pdf' in the folder 'Supplementary materials'.
The document named 'HINT listor.pdf' in the folder 'Supplementary materials' contain all Swedish HINT lists with underlined key words.
The document named 'Hint-listor på svenska – Klinisk användning.pdf' in the folder 'Supplementary materials' contains a (Swedish language) description on how to use the HINT test in clinical settings.
