Wiki Version:
These folders contain the raw data and analysis scripts. The Analysis scripts folders contain .m files that can be opened in Matlab or Octave. The file "cleanAlpha" contains the script for loading, cleaning and epoching the resting state alpha band recordings. The file "cleanEEG" cleans and epochs the files for the SSVEP task. The file "analyse Behavioural" analyses the behavioural task to count the number of times the fixation cross changed colour. The file "analyseAlpha" conducts spectral analysis on the resting state alpha data, determining the peak frequency. The file "analyseEEG7Hz" conducts spectral analysis using the Welch method on the SSVEP response data to the cross-orientation suppression task. The behavioural results are .txt files to be found for each observer in the "Behavioural results" folder. These contain a trial-by-trial record of the number of times the fixation cross changed colour, and what the response of the participant was, for each condition (masked and unmasked) and each level of contrast. The folder "BDF files" contains the BDF files for the alpha band recordings and the SSVEP responses to the cross-orientation suppression task. These are in zipped folders due to file size.
