Fernández We focus on evolutionary and memetic computing for tackling societal challenges, with emphasis on combinatorial optimization, emerging computing, videogames and gamification, and multidisciplinary optimization. The group is based in the [University of Málaga][3] and is linked to the [GISUM][4] research group (Group of Software Engineering of the University of Málaga) and the [ITIS Software][5] center (Institute of Technology and Software Engineering).
