Description: In this longitudinal project, we are collecting data to discover whether the COVID-19 pandemic of spring 2020 and the associated transition to online education has resulted in differences in UK students' discipline identification. In addition, this study provides cross-lag evidence for the role of discipline identification in explaining academically-related variables, such as student approaches to learning, academic self-efficacy and social-psychological factors such as student wellbeing, belonging and identity incompatibility.
