Description: In this project we are investigating different facets of novice psychotherapists' emotion recognition accuracy (ERA) and how they can be trained within the practical psychotherapy education. Furthermore, we are investigating how novice psychotherapists' ERA and the training of this ability influence the treatment of clients in terms of different psychotherapy outcome measures, client satisfaction and therapeutic alliance. The project is a cooperation of the divisions of Clinical Psychology and Biological Psychology, Stockholm University, as well as Högskolan Evidens, Gothenburg and Mid Sweden University, Östersund.
