Description: The DSM-5 proposes that we should diagnose neurocognitive disorders (i.e., cognitive impairment) using the neurotypical -1 SD threshold as a cutoff on two cognitive tests. In this project I demonstrate this requirement will cause many objectively impaired patients to be blocked from a diagnosis.
