Wiki Version:
In this folder, you will find the data files and analysis scripts associated with our study on whether eye movements during trustworthiness and dominance ratings reflect the facial features used for those ratings. Three versions of the task were run, varying the visual input, but not the task. The first version used small versions of the face images, the second version large face images, and large images using a gaze-contingent window (restricting extrafoveal vision). The images used in the study were from the Radboud Face database (http://www.socsci.ru.nl:8180/RaFD2/RaFD?p=main). Due to copyright restrictions, we cannot share these files via this website. We can, and therefore do share the regions of interest maps (PNG images) of each of the stimuli, which should allow for the reproduction of the dwell times to these regions. The ROIs for the small images version of the experiment correspond to the images from the database (without cropping). In the folder 'Scripts_for_Revision' you will find the R and Python scripts used for the revised (and final) version of our paper.
