Description: Here you can find the SocialPICS database. It gathers images with socioeconomic status (SES) cues. The database presents normative data on SES, valence and arousal for the Brazilian context; information on physical properties is also provided for each image (see file "SocialPICS_NormativeData.xlsx"). SocialPICS covers a broad range of SES levels in a continuum ranging from lower- to higher-status images and provides sets of images in a categorical classification (high, medium, and low status) for three subsets of images: human action, clothing, and landscape. We also made available raw and analyzed data, questionnaire code, and image processing scripts. In case you decide to use SocialPICS, please, cite us: Araujo, A. B. S. M., Bernardino, L.
