Wiki Version:
**CWFR Position Paper** The CWFR Position paper can be seen as a snapshot to present the current state of discussions with respect to Canonical Workflow Frameworks for Research. It is meant as a discussion statement which will be improved during the course of future discussions inspired by a) colleagues working in the data labs to optimise their procedures and make them more FAIR compliant and b) colleagues working in the IT area on technical workflow frameworks. In case of comments, please, use the wiki of this CWFR site. Peter Wittenburg
