This repository releases data that were recorded for a project where we participants made active (self-initiated) or passive (finger moved by electromagnet device) movements.
Participants completed visual, auditory and control blocks. In visual and auditory blocks, the button presses were followed by a stimulus after 100 ms delay. In control blocks, there was 1000 ms delay before a stimulus was displayed. After the first stimulus was displayed, there was a short delay, after which a second stimulus was displayed. Participants completed an intensity judgement task, which was not the focus of this analysis.
We analysed pre-movement cortical potentials (readiness potential and laterlised readiness potential). We also performed multivariate pattern analysis (decoding across time, temporal generalization and cross-decoding) in the period preceding the button press.
The repository contains segments of data that were used for ERP and MVPA analyses.
