**Specific Aim 1.** To examine affect reactivity and regulation among women with a recent diagnosis of breast cancer in comparison to healthy controls. Analysis 1a: Contrasting neural signatures of affect reactivity in women with a recent diagnosis of breast cancer vs. controls. Analysis 1b: Contrasting neural signatures of affect regulation in women with a recent diagnosis of breast cancer vs. controls. **Specific Aim 2.** To relate affect reactivity and regulation to choice of BLM. Analysis 2a: Contrasting neural signatures of affect reactivity in breast cancer patients who chose BLM compared to those who select conservative treatment. Analysis 2b: Contrasting neural signatures of affect regulation in breast cancer patients who choose BLM compared to those who select conservative treatment. --- The behavioral output from the Emotion Regulation pictures task will used to genereate 5 types of trial-level regressors for the: 1. Fixation 2. Cue word 3. Stimulus Window (Picture Presentation) 4. Rest 5. Response / Rating During the picture presentation periods, participants were asked to either respond naturally, or to implement an emotion regulation strategy (reappraisal). Hence, the stimulus window regressor will be further subdivided into regressors for the following conditions: 1. Neutral 2. Watching Breast Cancer images 3. Watching IAPS images 4. Reappraising Breast Cancer images 5. Reappraising IAPS images The following contrasts of the condition-level regressors will be performed: 1. Neutral watch < IAPS negative watch 2. Neutral watch < BC negative watch 3. IAPS negative watch < IAPS negative reappraise 4. BC negative watch < BC negative reappraise 5. IAPS negative watch < BC negative watch 6. IAPS negative reappraise < BC negative reappraise 7. 2 * Neutral watch < IAPS negative watch + BC negative watch 8. IAPS negative watch + BC negative watch < IAPS negative reappraise + BC negative reappraise
