This OSF project contains the complete data file analysed and reported in **Carragher, D. J., Thomas, N. A., Gwinn, O. S., & Nicholls, M. E. R. (In Press). The cheerleader effect is robust to experimental manipulations of presentation time, *Journal of Cognitive Psychology*.**
The data for experiments 1a and 1b are included in a single Excel file. Rather than write an expansive description of the different variables in this wiki, the spreadsheet has its own legend (Tab 1 "Variable Descriptions"), which explains the nature of the data in each column. I would recommend downloading the data as an Excel file, which will make the legend easier to read.
If you have any questions about the data file, or about the article in general, please send me an email: danieljcarragher@gmail.com
Participant Exclusions
The data file includes data from all participants that were tested in the experiment reported in the manuscript. In order to replicate the results reported in the article, two participants must be excluded from analysis. Participants are to be excluded if a '1' appears in the 'Exclusion' column. The final column in the spreadsheet contains the written reason for each exclusion. Calculations to identify participants with data that fell further than 3SD from any one condition mean were performed once data from participants excluded for any other reason had already been removed from the dataset.
