Description: Mental health is closely related to health promotion. Mental health promotion often refers to positive mental health, not negative mental health. Positive mental health is the desired outcome of health promotion interventions (World Health Organization, 2002). Preventive and promotive mental health interventions are feasible and effective in all age groups and all settings (Singh, Kumar dan Gupta, 2022). Promotion of adolescent mental health is the most effective proactive technique for preventing mental illness and disability now and in the future (Santre, 2022). Adolescents have a vulnerability to mental health problems. successful or not in dealing with problems depending on the risks and protection faced. The interaction between risk and protection affects resilience(Ostaszewski, 2020). Resilience is an individual's ability to function in the face of adversity or stress. Adolescents who have resilience in entering adulthood will be able to face difficulties in life (Murphey, Barry dan Vaughn, 2013). Adolescents with high resilience have lower mental health problems (Mesman, Vreeker dan Hillegers, 2021).Resilience refers to successful adaptation to stress. Resilience as an individual's ability to maintain, regain or increase homeostasis - eustasis or hyperstasis - despite experiencing adverse life experiences (Fotini Polychroni, 2016). One of the interventions used to increase adolescent resilience is the presence of media as a form of health literacy for adolescents. Online activities can contribute to youths’ resilience; thus, social work interventions might harness online interventions to promote resilience (Sage dan Sage, 2020). This scoping review will describe how "communication media" is conceptualized in peer-reviewed literature focusing on improving adolescent resilience abilities. We will map the types of media used to intervene in youth resilience and the effectiveness of these media in increasing youth resilience capabilities, especially in developing countries. This scoping review aims to assess media from various sources that can increase adolescent resilience skills in dealing with mental health problems. Specifically, research questions are: 1. What kind, and what type of media am I used or given to intervene in youth resilience globally? 2. Does the media used have an impact on the resilience abilities of adolescents so that they can reduce the mental health problems faced by adolescents?
