Best, Quincy Title of poster: Homophobia and transphobia as correlates of case judgments in a child sexual abuse case context Abstract: Many people hold negative attitudes towards sexual and gender minorities (SGMs). We explored implications of homophobia and transphobia for judgments made in a child sexual abuse case manipulating victim gender identity and sexual orientation. Mock-jurors who held more homophobic and transphobic attitudes rendered anti-victim judgments in scenarios involving SGM victims.
