Description: The increasing involvement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in moral decision situations raises the possibility of users attributing blame to AI-based systems for negative outcomes. In two experimental studies with a total of N = 911 participants, we explored the attribution of blame and underlying moral reasoning in a human-AI interaction scenario. Here you can find all our data and code we used. If you use our data, code or material, please cite both, this project AND our main paper published at Current Psychology. A manuscript with analyses on this data has been accepted for publication at Current Psychology: Leichtmann, B., Hinterreiter, A., Humer, C., Ventura, A., Streit, M., & Mara, M. (2024).
