**Preregistration group** ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ **Who are we?** ------------------ We ([Adrian Dahl Askelund][1] and [Viktoria Birkenæs][2]) are responsible for the "preregistration" component of the Open and reproducible science working group, focusing on making resources for conducting preregistrations easily available. Feel free to contact us if you have questions about any of these resources. ------------------ **What is a preregistration?** ------------------ A *preregistration* is a publicly available, time-stamped record of decisions around study design, methods and analysis, usually (but not always) created before data is collected or becomes available. Recently, it has been argued that preregistration is also helpful when you have [secondary data][3]. - For resources on preregistration, go [here][4].
