Description: A series of experiments using the Grooved pegboard task found that transcranial magnetic stimulation over inferior parietal cortex interfered with manual dexterity. The reason it did, however, was due to direct (remote) stimulation of primary motor cortex. This project asks how far away from M1 does the coil need to be to avoid remote M1 stimulation. The answer - under typical conditions - is 5.5cm.
