Wiki Version:
This multiple oscillators and pseudorandom-number-generators based synthetic one-electrode EEG generator emulates 5 phases of sleeps and 2 wake-brain states (relaxed and alert) as reflected on the EEG signal. It emulates brain seizures too. User can switch between the brain states and observe the changes of the brain waves. ![enter image description here][1] The signal can be processed further as this set of patches is fully editable, customizable and open source. The miniBEE constitutes simplified model of electroencephalogram with customizable ongoing input source of signal. User can manipulate frequencies, amplitudes and ratios of individual brain wave bands such as alpha or beta waves and observe the changes on resulting simulated EEG stream. Several streams emulating brain wave states accompanying distinct mental states are preprogrammed. The miniBEE was written in Pure Data by C.Kaplan. The development of the software was supported by the grant SVV 2020 – 260556 realized at the Charles University, Faculty of Arts.
