Food-specific inhibitory control training; FoodT app versus computer-based training

Description: Our previous research has tested a computer-based version of food-specific inhibitory control training to encourage healthier food choices amongst children. Now we are testing whether a new app (FoodT) is as effective as the computer-based task we have used thus far, as this mode of delivery is more attractive and easier for families to use at home.
Children's diets are often too high in sugary confectionery items, and low in fruit and vegetables. This imbalance contributes to rising rates of childhood obesity and other health conditions associated with poor diet.
