Duolingo English Test (DET) test-taker information, score data, and speaking samples (speaking samples not publicly shared to protect test-taker privacy and security of test materials) was provided by Duolingo in connection with a Duolingo-funded external research project. All test-taker information contained in this dataset has been anonymized. The format of the 'Speaker' variable used in this research to delineate participants neither resembles nor correlates with any type of test-taker identification used by the DET. Our coding schema cannot be used to identify a given DET test-taker.
