# Introduction This page hosts the Socio-Moral Image Database (SMID), a large, systematically validated stimulus set designed for psychological, neuroscienctific, and computational studies of social, moral and emotional processes. The SMID currently contains 2,941 freely available photographic images, representing a wide range of morally (and affectively) positive, negative and neutral content. This repository hosts the images in the SMID, along with a range of other resources that may be useful to SMID users. For further information, see the wiki pages for the individual project components. # Development and validation ## Publications This section lists the key technical publications that report the details of the development and validation of the SMID. If using the SMID for your own research, please cite the appropriate publication(s) according to the data / components that you use. - Crone, D. L., Bode, S., Murawski, C., & Laham, S. M. (2018).
