Wiki Version:
## BASICS The experiment was conducted using MATLAB 2016b on a CRT monitor; experiment scripts can be found under **Experiment Script**. For every experiment, there is a file named **Raw Data per Subject**, which includes matfiles obtained from every participant, and **Summarized Group Data**, which are .csv files that were plugged into JASP. ## EXPERIMENT 1 The Raw Data contains the matfile for all participants (OA: older adults; YA: younger adults) with the necessary variables for the analysis. The analysis can basically be done using GroupAnalysis. The other .m files are other functions that are used within the GroupAnalysis. The Summarized Group Data includes the numbers obtained from the group and was put into JASP and analyzed using the Bayesian Repeated Measures ANOVA. - Repeated Measures Factors: Temporal intervals (300ms ~ 2700ms) - Between Subject Factor: Age group ## EXPERIMENT 2 The Raw Data contains the matfile for all participants (OA: older adults; YA: younger adults) with the necessary variables for the analysis. The analysis can basically be done using GroupAnalysis. The other .m files are other functions that are used within the GroupAnalysis. The Summarized Group Data includes two different raw data. 1. Performance: Performance includes a .csv file which includes each subject's reproduced duration and coefficient of variance for each of the modalities (auditory and visual). Moreover, in the publication material, we mention a normalized RI. This data can also be found here. 2. Dual Task effect: Since our aim was to investigate the effect of the dual task, we subtracted the reproduced duration of the single task from that of the dual task. The same was done for the coefficient of variance where the single task was subtracted from that of the dual task. The numbers obtained from the group and was put into JASP and analyzed using the Bayesian Repeated Measures ANOVA. - Repeated Measures Factors: Working memory condition (High, Low), Temporal intervals (300ms ~ 2700ms) - Between Subject Factor: Age group
