Description: How does religious change impact on social equalty and cooperation? This Te Pūtea Rangahau Marsden Royal Society of New Zealand funded study will map resource and labour cooperation networks and measure religious change in four settlements in Fiji. By repeatedly gathering census, social cooperation and religion data at four settlements in the peri-urban surrounds of the township Levuka, Ovalau, this project aims to clarify religion's effect on community cohesion and conflict in areas of rapid social change.
