The TOFIN experimental paradigm consists in a simple task frequently called as multiple choice, oddball or intruder task. The game generates series of tones (by default three). The task of the player is to identify a tone that does not fit in the sequence. Each of the tones has different harmonical relationship to a base note.

The purpose of this experimental paradigm is to further test various theories of tonal hierarchies.
User can choose to present the tone series either after a single tone (the base tone) is presented, over the base tone that plays during whole trial, over a chord, or after a chord briefly resonates.
The experimental paradigm runs in [Pure data][2].
The statistical analysis of the output variables can be performed using attached [Jupyter][3] notebook.
