Description: The primary aim of this Delphi study is to build consensus among a group of experts regarding key indicators of impact to support the future development of research impact assessment for trials. This Delphi study will combine existing knowledge from experts with differing trial backgrounds, including unpublished and practical expertise. A body of evidence on what the trials community considers impact would better support the recognition of trials research, as well as planning for impact early in the life of a trial.
