Description: Open Science is a movement striving to make all processes and products involved in scientific research available and accessible to all people, without barriers. In recent years, several initiatives have highlighted the centrality of Open Science in enhancing the quality of scientific research (e.g., improving reproducibility), and different governments have developed policies to promote the adoption of Open Science practices. Nonetheless, it can be challenging for researchers to figure out what they can do, at the grassroots level, to foster the adoption of Open Science in their local communities. In this session, participants will be invited to brainstorm practical strategies that can be implemented to contribute to the development of Open Science. Rather than a general discussion, the aim is to identify concrete actions that participants can carry out immediately after the conference. Hackathon participants will work on creating a collaborative working document.
