Wiki Version:
EEG dataset from the study "The metastable brain associated with autistic-like traits of typically developing individuals" Takumi Sase and Keiichi Kitajo, RIKEN Center for Brain Science and National Institute for Physiological Sciences [submitted for publication] Participants 132 participants (Age mean:24.0 SD:5.0) Among them, 32 participants went for the follow-up second recording. Participants sat at rest with their eyes closed. The EEG signals were recorded for 180 s using an EEG amplifier (BrainAmp MR+, Brain Products GmbH, Gilching, Germany) and a 63-channel EEG cap (Easycap, EASYCAP GmbH, Herrsching, Germany) placed on the scalp in accordance with the International 10/10 system. The following recording configuration was used. Recording reference: left earlobe reference The ground electrode: AFz Sampling frequency: 1000 Hz low-cut frequency: 0.016 Hz high-cut frequency: 250 Hz Offline re-reference: the average potentials of the left and right earlobes. Format: matlab mat files (Zip compressed). The autism-spectrum quotient (AQ) subscales were acquired from 88 participants after the EEG recording. See "Information_on_participants.xlsx" for participants' details. Matlab code for the analysis is available as "MSCA-Toolbox-main.zip". "Easycap63.locs" is an electrode location file in the EEGLAB polar coordinate .locs format.
