Description: This project looked at the effect of icon arrays on performance in a laboratory risky-decision task. The main result were that random icon arrays (but not grouped icon arrays) resulted in less risk taking. A follow up experiment suggested that this is because random arrays appear to represent greater probabilities than grouped arrays.
