Description: This project aims to build an innovative home energy storage system with multi-functional technologies, including using health management software to ensure battery operation status and safety, advanced sorting technique on repurposed batteries, adopting repurposed battery modules, battery balancing technologies for better performance and longer operation time. After the completion of development, many units will be installed throughout Taiwan for on-site verification, demonstration operation, and performance improvement for promoting the future market. This product is expected to balance the electric load changes between peak and off-peak periods (peak shaving), which will be beneficial for the balance of the power grid and the quality of electricity. Moreover, the plan can promote the development of the domestic energy storage industry.
