Description: We will describe and summarize existing biological reference interval evidence available on variations concerning ethnicity. “Ethnicity” is an umbrella term that will be used to group various related ethnic groups in the world and their impact on specific biological analytes. The identification of commonly observed analytes that exhibit differences based on ethnicity could be a potential strength.
