Wiki Version:
Researchers: Elizabeth A. Bergey and Tuangthong Boonmachai. Our goal was to describe the snail biodiversity of land snails at the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden. Snails were sampled at 24 sites in May and April 2023 using visual searches (averaging 39 min/site). Both shells and live snails were counted. These data are associated with a manuscript and include site information and site-specific snail composition. Also included are two teaching/outreach resources: (1) a pictorial key to coomon soil-associated invertebrates and (2) a list of activities to help students learn about invertebrates in the field (a 'scavenger hunt')
